I think the extra large photos really bring the story to life, you totally triumphed over that dish of pho.

the sad thing is that pho at thanh brothers is better than in vietnam... vietnam don't eat pho the way Laos does (NO hoisen, no fish sauce on the table... no sugar- even though i never use the sugar anyway.) but the soup is pretty good... just not thanh brothers. and that's the only time you will hear me say that its better in the usa, cause everything else is better here.

I hope you got to eat bun bo nam bo in Hanoi. Once we had our first taste, we had to eat it every day. The place on Hang Dieu street became like our local burrito shop.
