awe. maybe he got addicted to it now and will post during his lunch hours from the Pho restaurant.

are you home yet? when do we get the report on your trip? when are you going to update your blog again? when are you going to tell lunch stories? i want vietnamese food for lunch. instead i have meatloaf. ugh.

i am home. and sarah(s), i wouldn't wanna let yall down... so i am posting another post.

but now that i am back in seattle purgatory, what is there more to post?

it's all in the eye. you need to develop the ability to see "glorious verse" in common things. as a poem says that i read with my students this week. something about the speck of a soul being a tutor. you can do it joseph!

how is this for glorious verse:

it is still raining
oh how its paining

me. and it is clear
it'll rain all year.

so why do i stay
where its so gray?

not bad. a bit depressing, though.

tragic.

Plus, Ward, you don't have to live through the SAD months with him (although he acts the same during the non-SAD months anyway).

The funny thing about this post - that now has 12 comments - was that it was toungue-in-cheek. I just needed him to tell me when his plane was going to get in to Seattle. And look, this post now has more comments than any other on this blog. Pretty Funny.

how adolescent of you, to relate the success of this post to your own request for information...

jacob said...

sure it is - no argument from me. Look at the source of the comment. You are stating the obvious, while hiding behind the weak veil of anonymity. talk about adolescent.

I just wanted to make it 15 posts for no reason. just balancing out the universe (15 is more balanced than 14)

there is nothing weak about anonymity. elections and many surveys (as well as hiv test results)are anonymous, so why shouldn't a comment on a blog? anonymity encourages honesty, and sometimes people need protection from dictatorial posters like yourself.

Wow! That looks YUMMY!

jrm said...

the plane looks yummy? you better rethink your tag line...

Anonymous said...

What am I doing wrong? I meant for it to say "Yummy" on the food you prepared (it does) but it ended up here too. Dude, your blog is goofing me up. I'm being publically embarrassed! :o(

jrm said...

so, go back under the anonymous tagline...

its good to stay anonymous when you are putting yourself out there like that...

Hey! Was that an insult?? :o)

hehehe...
