Hello everyone,
in prepartation for my trip to Laos for the Lao new year, i need to confess: i eat padek. i eat it a lot, and i like it more than jack in the box.
for more info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Padek
reference the picture: padek is the bottle on the left. homemade padek is best, but if you don't have space to store it, or six months to prepare, or the know-how to make it... then i recommend this brand.
check back to this blog for more info on padek and my trip to Laos. (i am leaving this thursday, april 6th; we're planning a stop in Vietnam too.)

sarah, i am starting to think you plan your trips to seattle when i am gone on purpose! you should postpone. i will be back in may!
